Last weekend, we attended the 75th annual Greenwood Christmas Parade. Mary Laine is at an age where she can start to appreciate it a little more, although I think that she's still not quite old enough to appreciate all of the characters that the older kids really seemed excited about. But she stared wide-eyed and danced when all of the bands passed us by. And Langdon was able to sleep right through most of it. The parade passes right in front of my parents' house, so we got to watch with my dad and our good friends, the Flanagans (Mom went over to my house to finish a big paper and study for her exams).

After the parade, Mimi joined us for dinner at La Pinata.
As the kids get older, the Christmas Parade is sure to become a tradition that we look forward to every year.
