Farm Fun

I missed a few pictures I had taken with my phone on my Summertime update. We decided to make one week in May "Farm Week". We went to visit Beaverdam Farm in Indianola one day. They had some great fresh produce, and then we also got to see their chickens, pigs, and rabbits. Aunt Su-Su and Mimi came with us and we had a great time.

We also went to a local blueberry farm to pick blueberries with the Green girls. (I couldn't get everyone to look at my camera at the same time). Going to the farm to get some fresh food is one of our favorite summertime activities!

Three (and a half)

Just like last year, we waited until Mary Laine's half birthday to have her party. We decided to just have a small party with our church friends this year. Mary Laine requested a ballerina party. Mrs. Cindy (ML's dance teacher) lead the girls in dancing, gymnastics, games, and the girls also got to have their nails painted. All of Mary Laine's very favorite things! Thanks to all who came. Happy three (and a half) to our sweet and determined little girl!

A few weeks before, when I asked Mary Laine what kind of present she wanted for her birthday, her first response was "Cake pops!" So cake pops she got.

"Hey ladies, check out this bod..."

HAPPY HALF BIRTHDAY MARY LAINE! WE LOVE YOU!

Summertime

Here are some pictures from May, June, and July:

Mary Laine and her friend Sadie had their picture in the newspaper eating watermelon.
It was a precious picture.

Our friends from Israel came for a visit. Mary Laine and Langdon got to have a few piano lessons.

Mary Laine finished out her t-ball season. Langdon was there at all of her games cheering her on.

Mary Laine learned how to play Sorry and Guess Who

Mary Laine went out for a Daddy/Daughter day and
Langdon was a bit upset that he wasn't invited.

Mary Laine went to a summer dance camp.

We had VBS at our church in June. Didn't get many pictures of our family, but here are some people that we love having a good time with setup.

We went to South Carolina to visit my aunt and uncle. I got sick, so I didn't get many pictures, but here are a few:

At the Greenville Children's Museum:

At the lake house:

Visiting Greystone - ML didn't want to leave!

Gary helped run the Delta Streets Charity Golf Tournament

The kids and I headed down to NOLA with my parents and cousin Neal to visit Uncle Wa-Wa.
I had my hands pretty full and didn't get a single picture out on the town.
Here are the kids in bed at the hotel. And next is Mary Laine helping Langdon with his milk. What a great big sister she is (sometimes).

My grandfather's first cousin (far left) and her family came for a visit.

Hanging out in the hospital after we found the "wobbly bug"

Anniversary weekend celebration with some of our favorite people. We realized that we had a cumulative 38 years of marriage between us.

Thanks to Daddy, Langdon has a new "security blanket" that he refuses to sleep without.
